What is the Horizon scheme?

Westminster Community Homes (WCH) offer high quality studio apartment accommodation at a discount against the average market rent in Westminster. This creates affordable London living, which can help assist your household budget and help save towards homeownership. To assist you further, we also offer a unique service where at the end of your tenancy you have saved enough for a deposit to move on to home ownership after your tenancy with us, we will contribute up to £10,000 (£2,000 per year of your tenancy) towards the house buying fees you might not have budgeted for. You must be moving directly onto homeownership to receive this contribution at the end of your tenancy.

Studio Apartments

All studios have been designed to a high standard with smart monochrome kitchen and bathroom and neutral living area. Unique ‘bed pods’ have been installed to each living area. These pods offer all your storage solutions and a large space for a double mattress incorporated to the design. Flats are let unfurnished but fridge and mini convection oven are provided by Westminster Community along with the bed pods.

Important:

Applicants currently residing in intermediate rental (IMR) accommodation in Westminster or who have been assisted in to IMR by Homeownership Westminster previously are NOT eligible for this opportunity if you are currently adequately housed or you have over 6 months remaining on your current IMR tenancy. Existing or previous WCH IMR tenants cannot apply for this scheme, irrespective of remaining time left at their current place.

If you are offered the chance to proceed following the viewing you will need to pass referencing. If you have CCJ's, a poor credit history, or have a zero hour contract, you will not pass the referencing process.
